Wu Bijuan, chairman of the Hai'an Stone Industry Association and chairman of Jiangsu Bipyroxene Group Co., Ltd., made the annual report of the association. She said that we always put ideological and political construction in the first place and adhere to Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guidance. Facing the current bottlenecks and hot issues in the development of various enterprises in the stone industry, we combined the international and domestic economic situation and industry development trends, through democratic centralism, brainstorming, and formulating and implementing resolutions on major issues. The various positions and system construction of the association have been gradually improved, and the ideological and political level and business philosophy of the members of the council have been comprehensively improved. Cooperated with government departments to carry out safety production inspections and rectification activities in the stone industry, and went to the company for 32 safety inspections, and found and corrected 41 safety hazards. At the same time, various companies were organized to participate in safety training for 3 times, 5 safety drills were held, relevant government departments were contacted to conduct field investigations, and 7 conflicts and disputes were resolved through on-site work.
On the "battlefield" where the whole people are fighting the epidemic together, facing the increasingly tense situation of anti-epidemic materials, the Stone Association carefully organized the supply of goods at the first time, from Shandong to purchase 10 tons of 84 disinfectant and 1500 kg of disinfectant alcohol, 4 times in succession The purchase of 20,000 medical masks cost nearly 70,000 yuan. Donated 2 tons of 84 disinfectant for Jiaoxie Town Education Committee and 40 kg of alcohol to support the disinfection and epidemic prevention of 8 schools (kindergartens). The remaining materials are used for normal epidemic prevention of the association's enterprises.
At the same time, after learning about the condition of the child Wu Jinjiang in Jiao Xie Kindergarten, the association promptly released the news and received strong support from member companies. It raised nearly 20,000 yuan in medical expenses to solve the urgent needs of patients' families. The charity and helping hand of the Stone Association have attracted great attention from the district government and society. The Fifth International Stone Fair was successfully held, with nearly 70 mid-to-high-end stone companies participating. Adhering to the leadership of party building, we selected leading pacesetters in the stone industry through pioneering competition activities; received more than 1,000 visitors from municipal authorities and Binhai New Area.
Regarding the work of the association in 2021, Chairman Wu pointed out that the current economic development has entered a new normal. As the stone industry, it also meets good opportunities and faces new challenges. The stone industry association has a long way to go.
